Man I had a excellent experience here man help pick out a perfect gift for a perfect lady I forgot is name but they deserve good ratings.
I bought a pair of Kay Jewelers top diamond earrings, 1k for almost 5 grand. A couple months later I lost the back to one of the earrings, so I took it to Kay Jewelry in Miami Ohio, they told me the earring needed to be sent off to have the screw on back sized. A couple weeks later I got the earring back, but the back didn't fit properly, so the sales person gave me a back off of one of the display earrings. It wasn't to long after this experience that I was in a nightclub with black lights and noticed one of my diamonds glowing in the black light, I didn't think much of this until I wanted to have the diamonds in my earrings set on my fiancée engagement ring, the jeweler then told me that one of the diamonds was of good quality, the other diamond was completely different and almost worthless. Never again will I shop at Kay jewelry
I would give my experience with Kay Jewelers in Kenwood a half star if it allowed me. My fiance bought my promise ring here when we first started dating about 4 years ago. I have had nothing but problems with this ring. It constantly has diamonds falling out of it. So it spends more time at their "shop" than on my finger. I have asked about getting my money back but they said they can only give me a gift card to Kay and that i would have to purchase something twice the amount of my gift card and it would have to be done that day. Most recently when i took my ring in due to missing diamond, i got it back and the whole band was bent. The lady proceeded to put it on a ring sizer stick and bang it with a mallet to try to straighten it out. After that, she then said we had to send it back out to get a whole new ring and sized to my finger. That was back in April, it is now June and i still have not heard anything. I absolutely despise this place.
Like Kay's but how this employee treated us was completely unacceptable.
I stopped in to get sized for a ring, as soon as the associate realized she wasn't going to make commission off of me she became rude and uninterested... I even asked of I could us a pen to write something down and she suggested I text it to myself.... I won't be returning for any future business here.
I am beyond disgusted with my experience here. My sister and me were shopping and one of there employees came over to assist us, she was pleasant at first. My sister was looking for a gift the employee showed us our options within our criteria. Then when my sister told her what size she would need in a specific item she looked at us very condensendly and said you should buy a necklace instead. We weren't there for a necklace and the lady new this. I then asked her how long it would take to get the size we needed in, she said it would take 3 months I asked her why - because when I got my custom made peice from there it didn't take that long -she then became very nasty which made me very irratated, I told the lady I was done with that converstation then she went on to tell how my ring wasn't customer made and that I didn't know what I was taking about. She said she was a jeweler and she knows ! I don't care if she is a jewler she is in customer service and you don't talk to people like that. Then my sister said we would look else where, I asked the lady for her name and she refused to tell me and she said she would not tell me and that I was the rude one. I will never shop at Kay's again because of this experience and I will close my account there as well. Customer service is always important and I do really
