5/29/16: Well I just purchased another truck from Borcherding and they didn't disappoint. The truck is awesome and everyone that I came in contact with acted like they cared and treated us with a "what can we do for you" attitude. My wife and I have been buying cars, trucks and vans from the Borcherding group for over 20 years and have from day one had the best experience of any dealership we have ever dealt with from the management, sales and service. They have always gone out of their way to do whatever it takes to make us happy with either a purchase or a service visit.
I truly appreciate the first class service that we received from Steve and making sure we could get our vehicle so quickly and Marseille with a car to have while ours was in the shop.
Perfect? Well, no... to me, how a company treats their own mistakes is a mark of gradable performance. I rate them 5 stars for that reason.
And also Rod who personally showed me what needed to be done and worked to make that happen. I felt every person who we spoke to or helped with even the small details really cared and wanted to make sure it was a smooth process. Thank you!
Also, I call BS on the $3.95 service fee. I have been to 7+ dealerships for oil changes, and have never seen this fee. It is always baked into the cost of the service.
It's true, dealerships do more than sell cars & trucks... I've dealt with some who see their own parts & service departments as a "necessary evil" they must have in place... Not here! Both the parts department, and service are clearly run with great customer service in mind.
12/8/17: Just had my super Sierra serviced again and Joshua in the service department was there to take care of me and the Sierra, thanks Josh!!
How hard is it to get the tire pressure correct? I mentioned it to the service manager multiple times, and was assured it was done correctly. On the paperwork it even shows it was correct when I dropped it off, and they intentionally overfilled the tires. What a waste of my time to have to correct it when I get home.
We dealt with Mike McCready and our experience couldn't have been nicer! We shopped 2 cars at this dealership and Mike was very helpful in explaining all the details involved with these 2 vehicles. We then went to another dealership down the road to see a car that was similar, and before we left the auto mall area Mike called us to offer a better deal on one that was on his lot. We returned and negotiated a good deal on the vehicle that we liked best. Mike and the general manager and the finance manager all stayed late to make sure that we could drive away in our new purchase. I would recommend this dealership and especially Mike to anyone looking for a good used car!
