We stopped by this store for the President's Day sale. We were greeted by Garrick Smith and he was extremely helpful. His knowledge was excellent and gave us great advice on the furniture items we were looking at. He is not a high pressure salesman like we had experienced at other furniture stores. The whole experience was pleasant and we purchased a living room set that matched our needs. He is a great guy and we would highly recommend this store for your furniture needs.
Initial delivery had the wrong color loveseat with the couch (September), next delivery 4 weeks later in October was postponed another 4 weeks because of a supposed inventory issue. November delivery cancelled because THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY (within our delivery time window) the loveseat was 'found' damaged.
STAY AWAY!
On top of this ongoing nightmare, their delivery policy is worse than the cable company's. You get your delivery date in advance but not the time. 48 hours before the date you get the time, and it is. It flexible. Pure Russian roulette.
Bought a couch with $150 insurance option for unlimited steam cleanings for 5 years. Cant figure out how to use service. Cant even get anybody on the phone and ive called at least 100 times. Feel like im getting the run around
Absolutely awful experience - anything that can go wrong has...
Not satisfied with my store visit. I went in to buy an entire king size bedroom suit. The sales rep was extremely slow in pulling up his pricing. Total price was $548 higher than a price I found online. They claim to price match but then said only if the deal was from a brick and mortar store. Well it was an online store that does have a brick and mortar store based in New York. But they said it didn't qualify. So I walked out and will proceed to order from their competitor. What a shame...I had cash I'm hand and they lost out.
Same asst. mgr. got snotty again on the phone when called over November's failure to deliver. Next delivery now set for December?! Take it all back!
Ric Van Lieu was very kind and welcoming. He greeted us at the door and stayed tuned in to our interests without being pushy. We had a few laughs with him which made the personal tension of spending money easier to let go of. Ric was very knowledgeable of the sofas and beds he was showing us as well as the prices and current sales. He thoroughly explained the return policies and warranties so we could feel safer with our purchase once we got it home. We are very satisfied with our sofa purchase and will be returning very soon for our bed. Thank you Ric.
In the middle of all of this, discounts we were promised for our trouble were not only not followed through with, the price we got INCREASED. Store manager finally corrected this after an assistant manager with less authority got snotty and said there was nothing that could be done.
