We have always enjoyed coming here. The atmosphere is fantastic. Food isn't bad at all. My kids like sitting and looking at the water. I like the feeling of it being vacation.
Atmosphere is fantastic. Food was good. My server wasn't good. I ordered a water, she forgot to bring on 3 occasions. I was halfway threw my sandwich when she finally brought it to me. In fairness to her, I think she was overwhelmed. Maybe she was new?.
When deciding to go to Pirate's Cove for our girls night, I had high hopes, but was quickly disappointed! The view is great and the atmosphere is fun, which is what took us there in the first place. But, the food was AWFUL, the prices are outrageous for mediocre food at best and the entire restaurant is seat yourself, so you're left cowering over people's tables hoping to pounce on one if someone gets up. I got the chicken quesadilla with no onion. I get my meal and it's covered in onions. I send it back and they bring it out 15 minutes later, when all my friends had finished eating and my chicken wasn't cooked. So needless to say I didn't eat my food and no discount was given. Beers (regular size cans) almost $5/ea. Our service was terrible. Our server couldn't be more disinterested. My friend asked for another beer and when the server didn't acknowledge her, she asked a second time, where he responded across the room while walking away, "I HEARD YOU!!" I was disappointed and I would not go back nor would I recommend anyone else going.
I later found out that the manager tells the staff to act as though customers work for them. The only reason I would go back is to tip the bar staff 15 cents again.
Love the atmosphere and my food has always been great . Drinks are a little pricey but it’s worth it .
Worst bar service I've ever experienced. Young girl behind the bar seem delighted to ignore us, while standing there doing nothing (not busy serving other customers). The man who eventually took our order made a great margarita, but the arrogance of the staff had already ruined it for me.
