I love this hotel. As go to kings island amusement park frequently and always come here. Comfy beds for hotels. No bugs, but the hall smells like weed. That is pretty much the only downside. Highly recommend.
We had an absolute terrible experience at this hotel! My husband travels for work and was staying here throughout the week. I came to visit him, only to wake up the next morning covered in bugs bites that gave me hives! It was bedbugs, the staff didn't even seemed surprised. I had to go to an urgent care, and now have scars on my arms, back, and legs from the bites. The staff didn't seem to care at all. My husband was only getting small bites and hadn't noticed, it was hard telling how long he'd be sleeping with the bed bugs. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!
My boyfriend and I stayed over night on Aug. 8th, 2017. We stayed in room 200 which is a double queen room for around $70 (without taxes or fees). We immediately checked the beds for anything and they were very clean, NO BUGS! The bathroom was spotless. The entire hotel was very clean. Well worth the price. The pool was very clean but the only downside is that it is outside so the weather has to be nice to enjoy it. The breakfast is included. It is very basic (which is all I need) you can make your own waffles which I love to do. There is cereal, muffins, bread to make toast, tea, coffee, apple juice and orange juice, along with fruit (apples and oranges) The two men that I met at the desk were very nice. Overall the stay was pleasant, the only thing I recommend is to bring shower supplies. A teeny tiny complementary shampoo and bar of soap were in the bathroom which we had to use. The smell is unpleasant but it did the job. ALSO bring air freshener, the room does smell musty but if you have spray it is fine. After sunset we also smelt weed in the hall. That doesn't bother me personally but if that is a problem for you it is just a heads up.
Stayed here for a few weeks back in winter/spring and the price was only $69 now in the summer it's like $93 with taxes and fees and IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!! The rooms are fine, I've never seen a bedbug or cockroach in any of them and the beds are pretty comfortable but as for house keeping, they try to avoid as much cleaning as possible. It got to the point to where we literally had to change our own sheets, sweep our floor, and take our garbage out, because house keeping WOULD NOT do it. The breakfast is basically all carbs, cereal, bagels, muffins,waffles, and they do usually have some fruit laying out but breakfast is over at 9am and they usually put everything away at like 8:59 on the dot. The pool is alright but could definitely use some cleaning, there's algae growing on the walls and filter things. Basically, it's decent but NOT WORTH $90+ A NIGHT!!!
Very impressed for the 65$/night price. Clean, friendly enough, some breakfast in the morning. Perfect for a nights rest.
