We went to see Dr.Burke after an awful experience with another physician. We were seeking a second opinion on the need of our 3 year old son to have a second eye surgery. Dr.Burke addressed our concerns and most importantly made our son feel at ease. My also has Cerebral Palsy and see's a lot of doctors. He hates them. When he actually started to look forward to seeing Dr. Burke I knew we had found the right doctor. He took the time to get to know my son and address my many worries. In a society where most patients are brushed off in order to get the next one in, Dr. Burke took the necessary time with us. Thank you!
Way over priced. $675.00 for one eye doctor's appointment. During the visit I was handed a business card for someone else and basically told that they could not help my child and I needed to visit a different specialist. I was never informed about how much this could cost when I came in. But when I questioned that they said that I signed a financial statement agreeing to pay for all charges. So I guess I am the idiot!
Dr. Burke is the doctor you want examining you child. He is thorough beyond my best expectation. His capacity for caring, helping and diagnosing is definitely his God given talent and he does not let it go to waste. The glasses that were prescribed to our 6 yr old, by another doctor were unnecessary and in fact, an incorrect prescription for an incorrect diagnosis. A year later, with complaints of headaches and a struggle to read, we finally found Dr.Burke. He sorted out the issue with her eyes and helped us along with a diagnosis of dyslexia. I am greatful for all his help! And his office staff are top notch!
I've been seeing Dr Burke for over 20 years. He and his staff are professional, friendly and caring. They know their patients by name when walking in the door. Dr. Burke is an excellent doctor; he is thorough, knowledgeable, and no issue is too small. He has always made me feel comfortable. I've seen him in the waiting area getting children for their appointment and they are genuinely excited to walk back to his offices with him. He is also excellent with adults with eye muscle issues. He has performed several eye muscle procedures on me and I highly recommend him to friends and family.
Dr. Burke is awesome! We had such a wonderful experience. He clearly is in the right business and has a real talent relating to kids. My son is shy and I was worried about how the visit would go-- until I met Dr. Burke. Within literally 3 minutes, my son was completely comfortable. He normally complains when it is time to go to any doctor-- but since we left Dr. Burke's he has been asking when we can go back. Dr. Burke is extremely knowledgeable-- and was very thorough in his explanation to me as well. I highly recommend Dr. Burke.
