WANTED ME TO HAVE FOR FREE!
If they are unable to change the displays maybe they should rethink the responses to people who want to buy clean and sanitary cupcakes?
After I called, I looked around to see if I could find a picture of the owner, because something told me that the store clerk, I had that experience with that day July 1, 2017 was the owner of this location.
WARNING these cupcakes are not made from scratch, they are regular box made cupcakes, they are far less than grocery store quality, dry as a bone, tasteless, with frosting that's way to sweet. One word: HORRIBLE, a couple of cupcakes had dead FLIES stuck in the frosting. Gross! Don't make the mistake like we did for our office luncheon, you might get fired over a grave mistake like this one. Don't just take my word, look at the other horrible reviews from people ordering for their offices too.
I posted my honest review AND response, as I felt it my duty to describe my experience with this location to warn future potential customers. BUYERS BEWARE !
She actually acted confused?/annoyed? that I didn't want her nasty dirty cupcakes, or the ones she LIED about not having anymore of, which probably had flies all over them too.
Gigi's is consistently outstanding with excellent service.
I could have some different ones, that weren't just being eaten by several flies.
I went to Gigi's 7940 Hosbrook Rd, Cincinnati OH, location on Saturday July 1, 2017 at around 10:30 am.
BUYERS BEWARE!
I say it is Saturday 10:30 am you don't have anymore?
Maybe they should rethink their displays to prevent this issue.
Anyway, I understand flies can be a challenge for any business.
Having said that, I do not feel it is necessary for me, to attempt to contact anyone at this location again, as the owner either knows first hand what happened, or they can ask their relative what happened and/or, they can view their security footage. I promise though, I am telling the truth 100% why would I lie?
I thought possibly they would offer me a certificate for free cupcakes, and I wanted the pleasure of letting them know,
I WOULD STILL CHOOSE TO PASS ON THE CUPCAKES
I asked to purchase some of the delicious looking gluten free cupcakes that were for sale.
She says we only make so many.
She tells me, we don't have anymore.
I called Friday 07-14-2017 but the "owner" wasn't at the store, at this time.

As the sales women/clerk was taking them out of the case, to pack them, I notice several flies (at least 10) fly off of the many cupcakes in the container.
I decided to say that is ok, I'll pass and left because I didn't want to buy anything from her, since she is so foolishly and blatantly dishonest.
I noticed the below response from the "owner " of this location and was curious as to what they were going to say to me.
Gigi's Cupcakes (Kenwood) did an excellent job on our wedding order. We had cupcakes, mini cupcakes and cookies. Our guests raved about how great they tasted and how beautiful they looked. We are thankful that Gigi's made our special day extra sweet!
If it wasn't the owner, then it was ABSOLUTELY the owners sister!
We love gigi's would love to use them to make cupcakes for our wedding!!!!:):)

Also I am certain there are security camera's at this location, even if we cannot see them, as every business now has camera's everywhere.
She then says let me go in back and see if we have anymore.
Although I am glad, I found out the NASTY truth !
The picture of the owner, I found on the site for this specific Gigi's location, looks EXACTLY like the person, I had the above described experience with, when I visited this Gigi's Cupcakes , 7940 Hosbrook Rd, Cincinnati, OH location on July 1, 2017.
Now there were only 3, of the flavor I wanted, in the case, and it was 10:30 am Saturday ...I didn't believe her for one second.
ALSO I only called, about below response from the "owner", to hear what they had to say.
I mention this to the clerk and she tells me that the flies "just got there".
I laugh at this thinking, 1ST how do you know that, and 2ND if ya knew..?...?.. anyway I say I would like some cupcakes, but perhaps,
She comes back and OHMYGOODNESS as I suspected, they actually had more than 3 of this cupcake prepared, and ready for sale, in back.
You are VERY brave!
I would have much rather had some delicious cupcakes that day.
I just wanted to put my truthful review and experience with this location on google to warn other future potential customers to something they aren't even thinking about when buying cupcakes from this location. UNLESS they happen to be lucky enough to see for themselves, the insects they are sharing their cupcakes with....YUK!!
