My daughter recently had dental surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Dr. Katie was nothing short of incredible from start to finish.
What they charge self pay patients is totally outrageous. My son didn't even get a full cleaning because he was scared and crying. The doctor looked at his teeth not even 20 seconds and then they charged me $161 I guess for just walking in the door because that is pretty much all we did. No real cleaning or checking anything. A 3 minute appointment cost $161. Save your money go somewhere else. The doctor was nice and the hygentist was nice but the office staff/office manager flat out terrible.
My son went today and had to have a tooth pulled. Today's experience left a positive one for him after some previous bad experiences elsewhere!
Dr. Katie was great with our girl, who refused to even sit down, and barely opened her mouth the entire exam. Dr. Katie worked with her in a calm, comforting, professional manner that helped us both feel safe and secure. When I was researching, another reviewer commented on how wonderful Dr. Katie's bedside manner is, and that is so true.
