My wife and I came in for dinner on a busy Friday night. We were sat immediately, but due to a clerical error, our server was sent to the wrong table. We sat for maybe 10-15 minutes before the stafff realized what happened and sent the server to our table. The manager was extremely apologetic and offered us a free appetizer and 2 free drinks. Very nice gesture for what we considered a small mistake. Oh, and the food was excellent.
The food was delicious and our server, Jason, was great. Very personable, familiar with the menu and joined in on our birthday celebration. I will definitely return.
We went for Thanksgiving because we heard good things. Quite disappointed. They were out of a lot of appetizers, sides, and desserts! You would think that if a place is going to be open on Thanksgiving, that they would make sure they were well stocked. My meal was supposed to come with broccoli (which I love), but they were out and gave me broccolini (a bitter vegetable that looks vaguely like broccoli but tastes horrible) instead. They didn't even ask me what I would like in substitution. My scallops were overcooked. Others in my party said their turkey was dry and their steaks (cooked medium rare) tasted like charcoal and smoke. We probably won't be returning.
Food was good - my trout was delicate and tasty, same for the scallops. I only don’t get the custom so many restaurants have to serve charred, i.e. BURNT, vegetables.
Four of us went for dinner last week to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. The wine flights were wonderful; we loved the scallop appetizers and flat breads. The entrees were delicious, and the service impeccable. This restaurant has both an elegant and homey atmosphere. We will be back!
Not inexpensive, more than a chain, but also quality is higher than a chain.
I am pretty sure te atmosphere would look great, if they only lighted the place up a little bit more.
